Sleeper walls

At W D Mitchell Landscapes we have constructed many different types of sleeper walls.

They are a fantastic way of retaining ground and splitting levels. They are also great for steps and raised planters. Railway sleeper walls are a great alternative to brick and block walls. Different types of sleepers will give you the look you require, from modern to a more natural look. We supply and install soft wood sleepers, oak sleepers and reclaimed sleepers.

Sleeper beds and steps

We can create any type of raised bed from circles to razor sharp straight lines or they can be laid vertical giving your planting area natural curves. They are ideal for raised vegetable plots and compost areas and they are also great for garden steps. We have installed many sleepers and have the skills and experience to create your design.

Sleeper seats and benches

Our team can create your very own personalised seating area from your choice of sleeper. They also make great feature seats. Whether it is under a feature tree or on your patio area, they bring a relaxed feel to your garden.

Installing sleepers

We always install sleepers with the correct support posts and fixings. It is vital that all support posts are set in the correct amount of concrete giving your sleepers the strength they require for a long lasting life. When installing the sleepers, we take pride in cutting and making sure all joints are fitted correctly. W D Mitchell Landscapes do this as standard practice.
